Jessica Dessino
Jessica is an automotive/ embedded systems hacking specialist with a background in electrical engineering and physics. She currently lives in Coopersburg PA and has been LARPing since 2002. Jessica has a deep love of all things science and goes to extreme lengths to ensure any science used in Colony Alpha has a basis in reality. Jessica also obsesses over vampires and demons. Chances are she’s out in-game playing one of the two… or two of the two: a motherfucking demon vampire. While not LARPing Jessica’s meatspace activities include table top role-playing, video games, board games, performing sacrifices to elder gods, making sounds on her acoustic guitar, and hanging out with friends.

Favorite thing about LARPing: Helping people escape their worries and cares for a weekend and creating fun, safe, loving environment that allows them to be the hero (or villain).

Joshua Beadle aka Beaker
Josh (Beaker) is a guy who enjoys writing music, playing video games, and playing with kitties. He has been LARPing for just one year, but is trying to make up for lost time. He is most known for being a cool dude with radittude.

Zachary Wydawski
Zach is a Quality Control technician who lives in Nanticoke, PA. He is proudly a Slytherin but totally not one of the bad guys, promise. He spends his time reading, running tabletop RPGs, playing video games/board games, writing, listening to music, and in general fumbling through social encounters. He has been known to be the thing that goes bump in the night during LARP and has a reputation for it. He has been LARPing for nearly a decade and has picked up a trick or two in that time. His favorite thing is to be outside in the wilderness with his friends.

Favorite thing about LARPing: Escaping my responsibilities for a short time and fully immersing myself into a game. I enjoy crafting unique props to use during the game. The best part is the athletic parts of LARP and i enjoy pushing myself during games to provide a challenge to those i face in combat.

Charlotte Jacobson aka Chargaret Marlot
Charlotte is a visual journalist and photographer, originally from Chester Springs near Philadelphia, but currently lives in Kingston, PA. Her weekly activities include tabletop RPGs, binge-watching bad TV shows, attending and reviewing live concerts and spending time with her friends. Her favorite hobby is LARPing, which she tries to do at least once or twice a month when not running Colony Alpha. Although she used to think of herself as a Hufflepuff, too many online quizzes have labeled her a Gryffindor. She loves to travel the world and hopes to see as much of it as possible in her lifetime. Charlotte has often been referred to as a hippie, due to her love of the earth and the outdoors as well as her habit of walking barefoot as much as possible. Disclaimer: Do not be alarmed by her innate clumsiness. She constantly has bruises and trips over her own feet while running… and walking.

Leslie Hunsinger aka Stewie
Stewie is a web and graphic designer, social media marketing maven, and Internet-obsessed blogger, living in Scranton PA with her husband and co-staffer Mark. She sporadically blogs at her little corner of cyberspace, DarlingStewie.com. She is a Hufflepuff and sorely regrets that Chargaret is not one. When she’s not LARPing, she’s cosplaying at nerd conventions, playing board games, or being a crazy cat lady. She co-founded the Geek Girl Pen Pals, which pairs nerdy ladies and dudes with their geeky soulmates from across the globe. She really likes salad and coffee, not necessarily in that order.
