Our first event is taking place this upcoming weekend, Aug. 27 – 29 at Camp Shehaqua in Hickory Run State Park!! This event is our first back and the Colony Alpha staff are super stoked to show you what we’ve been working on during our super long off season.

Staff will be checking in at the park office at 2PM. Hickory Run does not allow us on-site earlier than this, so please do not enter the camp prior to this time (even if the gates are open). We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience. Check-in will begin promptly at 2:30PM in the Logistics building. Remember, NPC shifts and player cabins are considered first come, first serve.

Hickory Run requires us to check out by noon on Sunday so remember to sign up for a cleanup job when you sign up for your NPC shift. You must complete your assigned cleanup task and have it signed off on by a Director, Core Staff Member, Rules Marshal, or Crafting Marshal before leaving the event to receive your weekend character build. More hands make less work!

Due to our group guidelines for this season, no one will be allowed into the camp without first showing proof of vaccination. Upon arrival at Camp Shehaqua, please proceed directly to the Logistics building for check-in before heading into the camp to begin your personal setup. You may show us a picture or copy of your vaccination card at check-in if you are uncomfortable bringing the original to the event. We will not be accepting emailed pictures of vaccination cards.

As it has been over a year since our last event, ALL latex weapons are required to be inspected and re-approved for use. Once you are checked-in, please take your weapons to the auxiliary staff table next to the Logistics building for weapon inspection.

Finally, due to our guidelines for this season, we will not be offering single-purchase hamburgers and corn dogs. We understand that many of you have food cards with funds still on them. If you would like, you may turn in your food card during check-in to have the remaining funds applied to your event fee. The Wyvern Group will still be offering an in-game feast on Saturday.
