Hello Colony Alpha! We’ve been working hard on some new mechanics and updates to some of our rules the last few months. We’ve been getting a lot of great feedback and we certainly appreciate it, so keep it coming!
New Stuff!

Game Mechanics Updates
- Thieving Rules have been added. Please visit the Thieving section for more details.
- Medkits require injury tokens. Rules have been updated to reflect this requirement. See the Life, Injury, & Death section for more details.
- Ammo Cards are now provided to track ammo. Please see Firearms of the Future.
- Generic hacking commands have been added to the Hacking page.
- Death count healing skills now no longer cost FOC or PRE to use. See specific skills for additional information.
- Salvage has been renamed to Scavenge for clarification purposes. Mechanics have not been affected.
Skill Updates
- Aim (1, 2, 3, and 4)
- Description updated to clarify the amount of damage being dealt. Aim inflicts 3 body damage, not +3 body damage.
- Prerequisites have been added for clarification.
- Pain Stun (Biokinesis)
- Renamed to Pain Touch so it is not confused with the Stun mechanic.
- Critical Strike 3 and 5
- Descriptions updated to clarify the amount of damage being dealt. Both now do either 3 or 5 damage, not +3 or +5 damage.
- Rapid Strike
- Description updated to clarify the amount of damage dealt. Rapid strike causes 3 damage or 3 body based on the source of the attack.
- Strength Rush
- Added 2 minute time limit.
- Stun (keyword)
- Updated Stun definition. Dispatch will not work on Stunned characters.
- Stun Touch (Biokinesis)
- Amended description with skill fluff. See skill descriptions for more info.
- Sucker Punch
- Sucker Punch has been renamed to Cheap Shot. Mechanics have not changed.
- Tracking Evasion
- Tracking Evasion has been renamed to Conceal Tracks and has been made continuous.
- New Description: The character knows how to avoid making tracks in the wilderness. When using this skill he/she cannot be followed using the skill Tracking. This does not stop the character from being spotted visually.
