Colony Alpha staff would like to introduce CA 2.0!!

With last season being our beta, we knew going into this season that there would be updates. And here they are! Keep in mind, that these will be play tested for the first event, and as staff, we may see fit to readjust some of the skills that don’t work out the way we pictured them.

That being said, we have majorly overhauled the way the skill lists are set up. There are still four pariah paths, but their skills have been adjusted and rebalanced. All of the melee paths have been reworked into their own named paths. The new classes are Athlete, Bodyguard, Brawler, Gunslinger, Hacker, Medic, Outlaw, Survivalist and Warrior.

The base rules for the game are remaining the same. The only updates to rules are with Strength and Grappling, which will be attached in a comment to this post.

Obviously, this will require player rewrites. We will be contacting players individually to chat with you on how you would like to respend your build so we don’t have to deal with it during check-in at the first event. So please, go over your paths and see how you will be affected by these changes and decide where you would like to take your characters given these updates.
